Meet our Leadership Team

Principal

Sarah Williams B Ed (Hons)

One of the school’s longest-serving members of staff, Sarah became Principal in 2020 having been Vice-Principal for two years. Sarah primarily teaches secondary maths, including GCSE maths to Years 10 and 11. Married to Ian, they have three adult children, all of whom have attended the school.

Ben Cope

Having joined Immanuel School in September 2017, Ben now teaches Year 5 and 6. A passionate worshipper, Ben leads corporate worship in Monday assemblies. He is the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead. Married to Karen, they have three children, all of whom have attended the school.

Kenny has served in the school since 2010. she currently teaches Year 1&2. Married to Anthony together they have 3 children all of which attended the school.

Laura Botha MSc

A highly experienced science teacher, Laura carries oversight for the PSHE curriculum and careers guidance, whilst also teaching science and art up to GCSE level. She is married to Chris; their two adult children have both attended Immanuel School.

Church Administrator

Stacy Clarke

Stacy has worked at Immanuel since 2010 in a variety of roles. She is now working as the church administrator and is a part of the school office staff. Married to Allan, together they have 3 children who have all gone to the school.

Adviser to Leadership Team

Suzanne Rose B Ed (Hons)

Another of the school’s long-serving members of staff, Suzanne teaches secondary art, whilst having oversight for learning support across the school. Married to Simon, they have three adult children, all of whom have been pupils in the school.

Emily Hunt

Emily is married to Jonathan, both of whom attended the school. They have 4 children, all of which are now in primary at Immanuel. Emily teaches English, History and Religious Studies to the secondary students.

Leanne Hurren

Leanne is married to Paul and has a daughter who attends the school. She works part time in the office doing Finance & Fees and part time as a TA in Nursery. Leanne has worked for the school since 2020

Lynette Moyo

Lynette has been at the school since 2021. She is part of the intersessors for the school as well as teaching year 3&4. She is married to Fanele and blessed with 2 boys.

Peter is married to Sarah, together they have 4 children, 3 of which attend the school. Peter is the leader of Immanuel Church and head of PE at Immanuel School.

Alan is another of the longest serving members of staff. Alan has 2 daughters both of which went through the school. He now teaches maths to year 7.

Yewande Johnson

Yewande is married to Marcus, together they have a son who attends the school. Yewande works in the Secondary teaching English and History at GCSE level.

Jenna has worked in Immanuel School since 2005 teaching our Nursery children. She is married to Jon who attended the school and their 2 children also attend Immanuel.

Kelly Cope

Kelly is married to Matt. She has worked at the school since 2021 teaching in both Primary and Secondary classes. Mother to 4 children 3 of which have attended the school.

Simon Rose

Simon is a retired IT professional and is married to Suzanne. He volunteers at the school one day a week during which he works with small groups of primary pupils building and programming Lego models.

Lorraine Maxelon

Lorraine is married to Ken, they are members of Immanuel and have been serving in the church helping look after the site since it begun.

Their 2 children and 2 long term foster children attended the school until they were 16.

Lynn has been involved with the school since the 80s. Married to Alan together they have a son who went through the school, and now has her 4 grandchildren attending also.
