Primary Education

In our primary classes, our children experience the joy of growing and learning - developing in their relationships with their peers, refining and learning new skills, growing in their relationship with God.

Alongside our structured, differentiated language and maths curricula, topic work forms a significant part of our primary timetable. These exciting cross-curricular lessons draw on themes from geography, history and science, whilst also developing the children’s linguistic, artistic and mathematical skills.

We believe that this topic-based approach enables the children to develop their knowledge and skills more holistically rather than seeing their subjects as disconnected, even fragmented.

Due to the location and nature of the school site, we enjoy taking learning outside of the classroom, making use of the copse, the playing field and the allotment garden within the school grounds, as well as the local country parks.
